In 2014, SoftBank launched Pepper, the first humanoid robot in the world able to read emotions. In 2017, SoftBank announced Promoter, an intuitive solution for marketers that allows them to manage customer interactions with Pepper. Pepper can be used as an engaging receptionist or for in-store marketing, to enrich brand campaigns, loyalty programs, sales and special offers. Pepper Promoter includes built-in tools to measure and analyze campaign metrics. Pepper comes with one robot plus a year of software in four editions: Receptionist, Marketing, Academic, or Developer.
